This
is a one-year comprehensive biology course that will focus on the
anatomy and physiology of the human body. Through a variety of
activities (written and laboratory work, lectures and discussions, group
research, and computer simulations), students will gain an
understanding of the structure and function of various organ systems.
Students will also study diseases, health and fitness, and environmental
issues that affect the human body. This course is directly correlated
with the California Standards and meets the UC A – G requirement.
