2025 IB Exam Schedule
Updated Sequoia IB Exam Calendar available below. Please note these dates are set in stone and will not change. We will update this calendar closer to exam season to let students know exam timing and exam room locations for each day. All students enrolled in an IB class in an exam year are required to participate in the Spring Exam for that class. There are no make-up exams. These dates are set by IB for all IB schools worldwide, not by Sequoia. Thank you for planning ahead.
IB Exam Tips & Rules

Student Training Video available HERE on YouTube Timed Length of Exams
Length of exams will be listed in our Sequoia IB Exam Calendar as soon as we have it available for the 2025 testing season. In the meantime, you are welcome to look at the old 2024 calendar to get a sense of what timing might look like. 2024 is available HERE. Please note that students are asked to arrive to the exam room 15 minutes before start time. And estimated end times are ONLY estimates. Students will not be dismissed early from exams. Students must stay in exam room until the entire exam session is complete.
Sending IB Scores to Colleges
- Your IB exam fee includes the sending of one free IB transcript (with your IB scores) to one institution.
- Your IB transcript with scores will only need to be sent to the college/university you are attending.
- You do not need to send your IB scores to all the colleges you applied to.
- Seniors sitting for an IB exam(s) will complete this form before June 1st to request one score report sent to one institution.
- IB will send the IB transcript in July to the institution you indicated on your form.
- The IB transcript will include all your IB exams taken in both 11th and 12th grades.
- Juniors sitting for an IB exam(s) will not complete this college transcript request form until senior year.
- If seniors change their mind and will be attending a different institution than indicated on the form during testing, please contact the IB Office by June 1st to indicate the change.
- If you decide to change your institution after the Sequoia school year is over, you are responsible to request a new IB transcript from the IB website yourself.
Getting IB Results
Congratulations on completing IB Exam season this year! Exam results and scores will be available on July 7th directly from IB's central headquarters.
The Sequoia IB Office will be closed to the public June 14th through August 1st. To clarify, we do not issue scores here in the IB Office. You must access them directly from IB.
How do I access my exam results?
- To access your score results, please visit: https://candidates.ibo.org.
- Your personal code is: (this info was emailed to you by the IB Office team, marked in red)
- and your PIN is: (this info was emailed to you by the IB Office team, marked in red)
- If this is your first time accessing the IB candidate website, you will need to read and accept the terms and conditions by clicking 'I Accept' at the bottom of the page.
- To view your results, click either on the View results button or select the Results tab at the top of the screen.
- Your personal code and PIN are case sensitive. You must include everything exactly as written in red (symbols, numbers, letters, all of it). In fact, we recommend cutting and pasting the above into IB's site. Be careful not to include any extra spaces or marks.
- This personal code and PIN will not work for other students. It is unique to you.
How does this info get to my college/university?:
- If you are a senior, and you completed the college destination section of your IB Score Report in the IB Office request form before June 1st, we have arranged for one free score report to be sent to the institution of your choice. IB central headquarters sends your score directly to the college/university. The IB Office does not send it.
- If your college/university changed after June 1st, and you need your scores sent to a different place, you can request additional score reports be sent directly from IB central headquarters by clicking here. There is a fee of $17.00 per score report.
- If you are a junior, your score from your exam(s) this year will be added to your report next year when you are a graduating senior. You will let the IB Office know in the spring of your senior year where you want those scores to be sent.
We will reach out in the Fall once we have the printed certificates/diplomas available. We will send out an email with instructions on how to pick them up once the time comes.
We wish you a wonderful summer!
AP Exams
Sequoia High School does not offer AP exams as we are an IB school. If you are interested in taking an AP exam, you must independently contact another high school that offers that exam and ask if they would be willing to let you sit for the exam on their campus. If looking at other Sequoia Union High School District schools, we suggest contacting that school's IVP Office as they oversee AP exams.
